She is survived by: her husband Henry Hammonds; her daughter Karen; her son-in-law Randy Abernathy; her son Greg; her daughter-in-law Tonya Hammonds; her grandchildren, Will Abernathy, Thomas (Jessica Abernathy), Daryn Hammonds, Ashley Alcorn, Anna Hammonds and Noah Hammonds; her great grandchildren, Ava, Molly and Emma Abernathy; her siblings, Martha McGregor and Terry; her sister-in-law Patti Shaw; and her sister Michelle Wynn (Wayne Best). She is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bates Cooper Sloan Funeral Home (2805 S Jefferson Ave, Mt Pleasant, TX 75455). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Bates Cooper Sloan Chapel (2805 S Jefferson Ave, Mt Pleasant, TX 75455).
