Galloway and Darius Himes; her great grandchild Ne'vaeh L. Jones; and her siblings, Vernice Young, Jimmy Brown, Zeffie Allen, Joe L. Brown, Martha Smith and Zelma Shelby.
She is survived by: her children, Johnnie Galloway of Mt. Pleasant, Joseph Morgan of Mt. Pleasant, Douglas Morgan of Mt. Pleasant, Sharon Himes of Mt. Pleasant, Katrina Davis (Carl) of Mt. Pleasant, Bobby Morgan (Jannette) of Daingerfield, David Savage (Linda) of Commerce and Charlotte Brown of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; her sisters, Lorretta Smith of Dallas, Texas and Helen Love of Dallas, Texas; and her godson Fred Brown (Ashley) of Mt. Pleasant, Texas. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Tumey Mortuary (611 N Gibson Ave, Mt Pleasant, TX 75455). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the White Oak Missionary Baptist Church (74 Co Rd 1550, Mt Pleasant, TX 75455). A burial was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at the Piney Cemetery (268 County Rd 1680, Mt Pleasant, TX 75455, USA).
