She is survived by: her daughter Mary E. Hooks; her son-in-law Harold Hooks Sr. of Longview, Texas; her son Freddie L. Smith Jr.; her grandchildren, Terrie Hooks-Sanders (Adam Sanders) of Dallas, ChiQuita Rousseau (Robert Rousseau) of Kilgore, Harold "Jay" Hooks Jr. of Longview and Kishanna Smith of Longview, Texas.; her great grandchildren, Ja'Mia and Julius Hooks; her sisters, Carolyn McGinnis of Dallas Texas and Billye Muriel Turner of Dallas Texas; and her close friend Dorothy Nixon. She is also survived by nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews, relatives, church members, and friends.
