We are sad to announce that on April 13, 2024, at the age of 85, Barbara Jean Irby-Holcomb of Mount Pleasant, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Emery and Ruby McBride; her former husband Joe Irby; her children, Michael Joe Irby, Teresa Smith (Richard), Reba Hicks and Yvonne Carr; her siblings, Marshall Emery, Jerry Don Emery, Eddie Ray Emery and Carolyn June Ramirez; and her great grandchild Katie Marie Fry.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Nathan Liles, Lisa Goodrich (Ryan), Marshall Tucker, Jessie Hicks (Lisa), Barbie Tucker and Tracey Tucker (Mackey Stewart); her adoptive son Scott Darby; and her sons-in-law, Cecil Carr and Jesse Hicks. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, numerous great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
