He was predeceased by: his parents, Boliver Blake and Annie Blake (Griffith); and his brother Thomas Joe Blake. He is survived by: his daughters, Christy A. Blake Gauicin and Brandy M. Blake Vasquez; his grandchildren, Christina, Austin, Jasmine, Agustin Gonzalez, Whitney, Jorge, Elizabeth, Juan, Ana and Hazel; his sister Betty Blake; his nephews, Aubrey Blake and T. J. Blake; his niece Elizabeth Renfro (Lloyd); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Austin Schofield and J. T. Renfro. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
