He was predeceased by: his parents, Keith Almon Havenstrite and Nettie Myrtle Holliday; and his siblings, Kenneth Keith Havenstrite and Donna Mae Davis. He is survived by: his wife Sue Embree Havenstrite of Cookville, TX; his sister Edra Janell Mullendore; his children, Chester Leon Havenstrite (Clara), Keith Austin Havenstrite (Tanya), Darla Sue Hollansworth (Jeff) and Nancy Ann Davis (Kevin); his grandchildren, Matt (Mel), Josh Mullins, Courtney Klausing (Adam), Emily Imhoff (Bryce), Jacob Davis, Sarah Davis, Ally and Arin Havenstrite; and his great grandchildren, Harper Mullins and Nora Jane Klausing.
