He was predeceased by: his grandparents, A. E. and Evie Wagstaff; and his stepbrother Jody Hooper. He is survived by: his wife Becky of Mt. Enterprise, TX; his daughter Stephenie Gerhardt of Plano; and his sisters, Brenda Perez of Center, TX and Shelia Bozeman of Carthage, TX. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made in Steve's honor at either The Mt. Enterprise Library, for their reading program, or Bonita United Method Church for their reading, children and after school programs.
