It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Katherine Boyd of Mount Enterprise, Texas, who passed away on January 8, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Clayton and Dora Baker (Terrell); her husband James "Buzzy" Boyd; her children, Dora Lynn Boyd and James Alvin Boyd; and her brothers, Lynn, William and Charley Baker.
She is survived by: her children, Tammy K. Sallee (Bobby) of Mt. Enterprise and Randy Boyd (Susan) of Hallsville; her brother-in-law Larry Boyd of Kingwood; and her grandchildren, Steven Sallee (Ashley) of Mt. Enterprise, Julia Channing Rogers (Jordan Rogers) of Groves, Trevor Sallee (Victoria) of Mt. Enterprise, Macie Harris (Wesley) of Longview, Cody Boyd of Navasota, Jesse Boyd of Longview, Jacob Boyd of Australia, Brooklyn Croft (Devin) of Denison and Stephanie Brumlow of Houston. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Landmark Missionary Baptist Church (202 West 1st and Greg Street, Mount Enterprise, TX 75681). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
