He was predeceased by: his father Eddie Lee; and his brothers, Eddie and Wilbur Chaney. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Chaney of Mt. Enterprise; his sons, Ralph Chaney (Angie) of Colmesneil and Allen Chaney (Micki) of Concord; his grandchildren, Air Force Tech, Larry Chaney of Mt. Enterprise, Darla Chaney of Shamrock, Katlyn Chaney of Jewett, Grant Wheat of Mineola, Garrett Wheat of Colmesneil, Jeremy Holster of Lufkin, Russell Holster, Jr. of Lufkin and Brandi Yeates of Lufkin; and his sister Marie Riddle (Gene) of Covington, LA. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
