She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Makovy and Josephine Makovy (Bezdek). She is survived by: her siblings, Donna Hawkins (Jack) of Mount Calm and Edward "Jimmy" Makovy Jr. (Patsy) of Abbott; her nephews, Josh Hawkins (Jessica) and Shane Hawkins (Trina); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Jase, Jocelyn, Halle, Heidi and Zane Hawkins. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Penelope Fire Department or Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church.
