He is survived by: his wife Ellen Ann Gummelt; his children, Jalean Sutton (Shanon), Glenda Chastain, Justin Gummelt and Jackie Gummelt (Shelly); his granddaughters, Kelbi Badger, Karlee Chastain and Maddi Gummelt; his siblings, Janice Melde (Lloyd) and Sam Gummelt; his brothers-in-law, Buck McFarlin (Betty) and Sam McFarlin; and his friend Teresa Talamantez. He is also survived by his father and older brothers.
