He was predeceased by: his parents, Dain Higdon and Jean Higdon; and his son James Travis. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Downing Higdon; his sons, Travis N. Higdon (Janet) of Los Angeles and Andrew Higdon (Jennifer) of Denver; his grandchildren, Riley, Haddon and Byrd; and his siblings, Janice Higdon and Dain Higdon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
