Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Blackston Bird (Mound, Texas), born in Bertram, Texas, who passed away at the age of 93, on January 28, 2021. He was predeceased by: his parent Harvie Bird; his wife Gladys Matilda Jones of Flat; his parent Froney Ann Huggins Bird; his siblings, R. Granville Bird, Shirley Maude Bird, Betty Jane Hill and Anne Mae McCloskey; and his granddaughter Molly Anne Hightower.
He is survived by: his children, Bobby Bird (Sandra) and Teresa Eddings (Donnie); his sisters, Billie Jo Amidon and Adarene Wilson (Joe); his grandchildren, Kevin Fisk (Tracy), Kelly Evans (Alf), Casi Renfro (Matt) and Terron Rivas; his great grandchildren, Amber Doud (Jon), Cheyenne Best (Dale), Sydney Fisk, Trey Evans, Blackston Fisk, Shaefer Evans, Eliana Rivas and Wyatt Renfro; and his great great grandchildren, Christopher, Jacob, Liam Doud and Dean Best. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
