He was predeceased by: his parents, John Michal and Ella Michal (Kasparek); his stepfather Philip "Pop" Vrazel; his brother E. J. Michal; his nephew David Vrazel; and his niece Leanne Ulcak.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Michal (Harbers) of Moulton; his son Matt Michal (Windi) of Moulton; his grandchildren, Caden and Samantha Michal; his brother Philip Vrazel (Charlotte) of Corpus Christi; and his sister-in-law Joyce Michal of Kingsland. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
