He was predeceased by: his mother Lexie Kurtz Etlinger; his sister Lexie Marie Rothbauer; his brothers-in-law, Gene Rothbauer, Richard Orts and Paul Machalec; his parents-in-law, Jim and Rosalie Kubicek; his brother-in-law John Kubicek; his nephew Bruce Rothbauer; and his father Bruce.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Kubicek Etlinger; his daughters, Angela Rabel (Christian) and Amanda Turlington (Jeremy); his grandchildren, Emily Rabel, Annie Rabel, Dalton Turlington and Delaney Turlington; his sister Gussie Orts Machalec; his mother-in-law Evelyn Kubicek; his sister-in-law Margaret Klekar (Robert); and the mother of his children Rickie Jo Bonner. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
