He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Jones and Nora Jones; his siblings, Dewey Jones, Gerald Jones, Glenda Kay and Lenora Fay; and his grandson Michael Jones.

He is survived by: his wife Rose Mary of Rusk; his son Kenneth Ray Jones (Linda); and his grandchildren, Doug Jones, Chris Jones and Ethan Jones. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren; numerous other nieces, nephews, extended family, and loving friends.
