She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Lee and Inez Elizabeth Clark (Powers); her husband Ted Simpson; her siblings, Joe Frank, Wayne, Wendel and Cleta; and her daughter-in-law Konnie Simpson.
She is survived by: her children, Dan Simpson of Maple, James Simpson (Patti) of Shallowater, Texas and Saundra Pool (Wesley) of Clovis; her grandchildren, Jonathan Pool of Lubbock, Andrew Pool (Nikki) of Lubbock, Eric Simpson (Savannah) of Shallowater, Texas, Allison Sweet (Johathan) of Shallowater, Texas and Emilee Simpson of Shallowater, Texas; and her close friend Eileen Martha of Maple. She is also survived by her eight great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Eastside Church of Christ.
