He was predeceased by: his parents, T. A. Thomas and Ola Lee Thomas (Tucker); his wife Rita Wilson; his son Arthur Thomas; and his siblings, Christene, Virginia, Gary and Bud Thomas.
He is survived by: his son Steve Thomas (Robin) of Lubbock; his siblings, Dorothy Piland of Great Bend, Kansas, Jerry Thomas of Lake Stanford and Virgil Thomas of Brookland, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Andy, Jamie and Ben Thomas; and his great grandchildren, Callen and Colbie Thomas.
