He was predeceased by: his parents, John Caton and Virgie Mae Tyson (Wynn); his daughter Sylinda Dylene; his wife Darance Tyson; his sisters, Evelyn Davis (Johnson) and Wanda Kelley (Johnson); and his great grandchild Hunter Trey Timmons.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lykinda Lygale of Garland and Dyrinda Tyson-Jones of Oklahoma City; his stepsons, Tony Timmons (Liz) of Austin and Clay Timmons (Cara) of Southlake; his siblings, Maxine Roberson of Lubbock and Jesse Wynn Tyson of Morton; and his grandchildren, Rayner Cross of Laramie Wyo, Cole Timmons of Fayetteville, Ark., Hadley Cross (Daniel Beaver) of Durango, Colo, Claire Jones (Eric Christo) of Norman, Okla and Cameron Timmons of Southlake.
