He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Agnes Taylor and John Simpson; his sister Phyllis McDowell; his wife Janiece Simpson of Morton; and his children, Scott Simpson of Morton, Chris Simpson of Terrell, Cindy Simpson of Morton and Vicki Fort of Morton. He was also cherished by 7 grandchildren; and 21 great grandchildren.
