It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Angelita Grado of Morton, Texas, born in Coleman, Texas, who passed away on August 22, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfredo Martinez and Lupe Martinez (Saenz); her husband Jesus Grado; her son Jesse Grado; and her siblings, Josie Elizondo, Florence Lucero and Alex Martinez.
She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Grado (Myra) of Levelland, Texas, Lilly Grado of Morton, Florence Alvarez (Robert) of Morton and Josie Alvarez (Ruben) of Morton, Texas; her sisters, Amy Sanchez (Red) of Morton, Lola Gonzalez (Albert) of Morton, Diane Martinez of Morton and Eloise Sepulbeda (Albert) of Morton, Texas; her daughter-in-law Theresa Maria Grado; her brothers, Joe Martinez of Lubbock, Raymond Martinez of Morton, David Martinez of Morton, Gilbert Martinez of Morton and Alfred Martinez Jr. (Connie) of Plains, Texas; her sister-in-law Melly Martinez of Morton, Texas; and her grandchildren, Jimmy Grado (Monica), Jennifer Cantu (Victor), Robert Alvarez Jr., Alexis Ruiz (Ivan), Jacob Alvarez, Myranda Alvarez, Eric Alvarez and Ashley Grado. She is also survived by her nine great-grandchildren; and her two great-great-grandchildren.
