He was predeceased by: his parent Cecil Horace; his son Matthew Ash; and his brother Bill Ash. He is survived by: his parent Doris Gwendolyn Ash (Phillips); his wife Vicki Ash; his sons, Bubba Ash (Joy) and Michael Ash (Charlotte); and his grandchildren, Alexzandria Ash, Samantha Ash, Hayley Marie Ash, Shianne Denise Vandiver and M. J. Ash.
