She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Beerwinkle and Madelina Beerwinkle; her brother Walter Lewis Beerwinkle, Jr.; her husband Charles H Howard; and her grandson Timothy Swanson.

She is survived by: her sons, Chip Howard (Debbie) of Bryan and Rev. Warren Keith Howard of San Antonio. She is also survived by four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
