She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Martin Sawyer and Mary Sue Adams; her daughter Stephanie Joy Smith; and her brothers, Gene and William Sawyer.
She is survived by: her children, Tommy Sohns of Moody, Stephen Sohns of Moody, Michael Vasquez of Temple and Melissa McMillan of Troy. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hewett-Arney Funeral Home (14 W Barton Ave, Temple, TX 76501).
