As Jewel Sue departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Jewel Sue. Though Jewel Sue may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Martin Sawyer and Mary Sue Adams; her daughter Stephanie Joy Smith; and her brothers, Gene and William Sawyer.
She is survived by: her children, Tommy Sohns of Moody, Stephen Sohns of Moody, Michael Vasquez of Temple and Melissa McMillan of Troy. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hewett-Arney Funeral Home (14 W Barton Ave, Temple, TX 76501).
