He is survived by: his parents, Lesley Henry and Ann Henry (Wise) of Beeville, Texas; his children, Bryne Henry of Dallas and Danielle McNiel (Petar) of Temple; his brothers, Matthew Henry (Gina) of Beeville and Alan Henry (Melissa) of Florida; and his grandchildren, Reed and Rayleigh McNiel. He is also survived by friends and fellow firefighter brothers/sisters.
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Junior Fire Cadets of Temple as a scholarship for kids in remembrance of Derek Henry.
