He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Malone (Hardeman) and Shelbin Malone; his wife Robbye Marie Malone; and his sisters, Anne Nagel and Martha Jean Usery.
He is survived by: his children, Laura Black (Kermit) of Montgomery, TX and Robin Malone (Karen) of Valparaiso; his grandchildren, Rachael Gaunt (Russell) of Aberdeen, Sara Steger (David) of Bogart, Molly Phelps of Valparaiso, IN, Ryan Malone (Sarah) of Holly Springs, NC, Benjamin Malone (Abby) of Knoxville, TN and Nathan Malone (Karley) of Grand Rapids, MI; and his great grandchildren, Lewis, Libby, Leo Gaunt, Emma, Tessa Steger, Grace, Max Phelps, Camilla, Carlisle, Harrison, Jack and Clark Malone.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be given to the Woodland Oaks church of Christ or the Lupus foundation of America.
