It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Whitney Gernand of Montgomery, Texas, born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on December 19, 2023, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosa Letha Gernand and C. J. Gernand. He is survived by: his wife Roxie Gernand; his children, Ryan Gernand (Brittany) and Kristen Gernand; his brother Jim Gernand (Kelli); his grandchildren, Grayson, Brynlee and Landon; his niece Tamara West; his nephew Alex Gernand; his stepdaughter Jennifer Follis (Russell); and his stepgranddaughter Emerson.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages you to donate to the Texas Lions Camp or the American Diabetes Association both of which provide care and support to those living with diabetes.
