She is survived by: her husband Ronald Soots of Montgomery, Texas; her son Duane Soots (Jonna) of Porter, Texas; her grandchildren, Devan Soots, Lauren Soots, Cody Johnson (McKayla) and Lane Johnson; her great grandchild Knox Johnson; and her sisters, Darlene Dodson (Gary) of Gainesville, Latricia George (Ken) of Livingston and Leanne Simpson (Chad) of Whitesboro, Texas. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel (406 N Yaupon Ave, Livingston, TX 77351). A graveside service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Midway Cemetery.
