He was predeceased by: his parents, Dora Perez (Jose Perez) and Jose Perez; his siblings, Doty and Danny; and his son Joe Antony Perez.

He is survived by: his wife Yolanda; his children, Patricia, Miguel Valdez, Melissa and Jeff Mueller; his grandchildren, Angelica, Bryan Lowery, Julian, Jennifer Perez, Miguel, Ledia Valdez, Joe II, Ashley Perez, Ariana Perez, Briana, Matthew Prickett, Jeremy and Karina Mueller; his great grandchildren, Micaela, Kross, Isabella, Julian Jr., Joe III, Emma, Ezekiel, Maximillian, Mateo, Camdyn and Caprice; and also Jose. He is also survived by three children, seven grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
