Emmett Edward Jones Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emmett Edward Jones (Montgomery, Texas), who passed away on June 9, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jackson Jones and Anna Schmidt-Jones; his sisters, Ruth Marie Beard and Dorothylene Butler; and his grandson Dustin Dakota Jones.

He is survived by: his sister Lavelle; his wife Debbie Jones; his children, Angie Mendel (Jason), Jeannie Clopton (Thomas) and Emmett "Bubba" Jones, Jr. (Carla); his grandchildren, Megan Schneider (Logan), Emmett "Shayne" Jones, Trent Mendel and Eugene Clopton (Kim); his great grandchildren, Haisley and Talon Schneider; and his grandchildren, Abby and Ari Clopton. He is also survived by grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, along with many other family members and close friends.
