She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Goehlen and Alma Goehlen; her husband Edward Schmidt; her daughter Sandy Patterson; and her siblings, Leora Nelson, Bernice Zindler and Robert Goehlen.
She is survived by: her son Thomas Schmidt; her daughter-in-law Barbara Schmidt; her grandchildren, Gary Patterson (Diana), Tammy Schmidt and Jennifer Nye (John); and her niece Elaine Roubik. She is also survived by six Great Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family asks memorial contributions in her name to the Youth Fund at Living Savior Lutheran Church, 310 Louisa, Montgomery, Texas 77356.
