She is survived by: her stepmother Dorothy Lewis; her children, Ethenia Bonham (Ronnie), Murphy Lewis and Alvin Lewis; her siblings, Earnest Lewis (Gayle), Antoine Lewis, James Achane, Adam Lewis (Rosie), Richard McDowell, Princess McDowell, Stephanie Coleman and Phoebe Cormier; her grandchildren, Christian, Caleb, Paige, Kendrick, Keylan, Angel, Beyonce and LaBella; her sister-in-law Annette Lewis; and her close friends, Bert Perkins, Vicki Nixon and Odeal Williams. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immanuel Worship Center (8074 LA-26, Jennings, LA 70546). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Immanuel Worship Center (8024 LA-26, Jennings, LA 70546). A burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 12:45 PM to 1:00 PM at the Peterson Memorial Cemetery.
