With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alvin Leon Tingle of Montgomery, Texas, who passed away on December 28, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, J. A. Tingle and Ila May Tingle; his siblings, Hilburn, Balford "Bob", Victor and Betty; and his significant other Irene T. Birdsong.

He is survived by: his nephew Teague Cecil Foreman, Jr. (Paula) of Huntsville, TX; his nieces, Vickie Lynn and Darla Jean; his stepchildren, Theresa Scheib (Nick) of Montgomery, TX, Debbie Cope (John) of Montgomery, TX, Darryl Birdsong (Judy) of Montgomery, TX and Margaret Smith (Randy) of Raleigh, NC; and his stepgrandchildren, Matt Morgan, Brittany McFarlin, Kyle Cope (Jennifer), Korey Benitez (Mason), Kaylie Pawelczyk (Nick), Misti Birdsong, Scott Birdsong (Shannon), Wade Smith (Diana), Riley Smith and Cole Smith. He is also survived by 16 step great grandchildren.
