He was predeceased by: his parents, Severino Cortez and Ofelia Cortez. He is survived by: his wife Guadalupe Cortez; his children, Delfino Manuel Cortez, Jr., Fabian Cortez, Pedro Cortez (Rebecca Salinas), Delvis Cortez (Veronica), Adalberto Castro, Jr., Alejandro Castro, Alan Joel Castro, Graciela Cortez Borrego and Priscilla Cortez; and his close friend Sylvia Castro. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
