He was predeceased by: his parent Frank Cowan; and his siblings, Diana Belle and Dwayne Cowan. He is survived by: his wife Karren; his sons, Thomas Cowan Jr. and Johnny Cowan; and his brothers, Benny and Charles Cowan. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
