He is survived by: his wife Herlinda Soto; his children, Rudy Jr., Gabriel Soto (Delia) and Beatrice Escobedo (Albert); his grandchildren, Megan Garcia (Jacob), Mariah Escobedo, Michael Escobedo and Audrey Soto; and his siblings, Abel Soto (Enedina) and Rachel Villarreal (Eliseo). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
