He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Neal Hart Smith, J. A. Wilkinson, Betty Jean Frank and Lula K. Smith; and his uncle Tommy Ray Smith.
He is survived by: his parents, Eddie Merril Smith, Sr. and Carrie Jean Wilkinson; his wife Tonya Smith; his son Rhett Smith (Alexis); his grandson Gunner Allan Smith; his son Hunter Smith (Carolyn Wood); his brother Eddie Smith, Jr. (Denise); and his parents-in-law, Charles and Susan McCawley. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces, cousins, brother in laws, sister in laws, and friends.
