He was predeceased by: his parents, John Miles Phillips and Nannie Lee Brown; and his siblings, Geneva Clow, Walter O. Phillips Sr., Jack Phillips, Louise Green and Alice Charles. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Dayton - Pace-Stancil Funeral Home (1304 N Cleveland St, Dayton, TX 77535). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 at the Hardin Chapel Cemetery (782 W Hardin Rd, Liberty, TX 77575).
