It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Santa Maldonado of Monahans, Texas, born in Sanderson, Texas, who passed away on January 7, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Felicito Valles and San Juana Valles; her husband Valentin A. Maldonado; her stepfather Jesus Borrego; her siblings, Pablo Valles, Felix Valles, Juani Villarreal and Amalia Escamilla; her granddaughter Myra Lynn Maldonado; and her great great grandchild Xavier Valentin Maldonado.
She is survived by: her children, Robert V. Maldonado (Elma) and Gloria Leticia Maldonado; her siblings, Joe Borrego (Fidela), Mabel Rubalcava and Amelia Escamilla (Press); her grandchildren, Kim Maldonado, Eric Salazar (Rachael) and Robbie Maldonado; her great grandchildren, Jacob Maldonado, Myra Maldonado, Joey Maldonado, Aiden Cannon and Claire Salazar; and her great great grandchildren, Myra Maldonado, Marlii Rodriguez, Ma'Kai McNary and Ma'Kari McNary. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
