He is survived by: his wife Lori Garcia; his children, Rosemary Jaquez (Ray) of Odessa, Ruben Garcia (Rachel) of Monahans and Estella Romero (John) of Monahans; his grandchildren, Danielle Tavarez, Gabrielle Hinojosa, Seline Sanchez, Issac Sanchez, Ruben Garcia Jr., Justin Garcia and Jasmine Garcia; and his great grandchildren, Kaique Tavarez, Ezaya Hinojosa, Jalen Sanchez, Leilani Garcia and Jhenai Garcia.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Harkey Funeral Home (210 S Allen Ave, Monahans, TX 79756). A rosary was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St John Evangelist Catholic Church (500 S Ike Ave, Monahans, TX 79756). A burial was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Marathon Cemetery.
