She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Phillips and Pinkie Lee Thornton; her son Charles Phillips; and her sister Deborah Hammond. She is survived by: her children, Charlotte Phillips and Fabian Butler (Italy Butler); her grandchildren, Ty Carnegary, Tyniqua Phillips, Navy Butler and Fabian Butler II; and her sisters, Autrey Gray and Mary Carter. She is also survived by many other extended family members and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM and on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Harkey Funeral Home (210 S Allen Ave, Monahans, TX 79756). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Monahans Community Church (301 S Bruce Ave, Monahans, TX 79756). A burial was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 11:15 AM to 12:15 PM at the Monahans Memorial Cemetery (400 S Helen Ave, Monahans, TX 79756).
