It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hortensia Silvas of Monahans, Texas, born in Presidio, Texas, who passed away on May 25, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederico Sanchez and Catalina Sanchez; her husband Fidel Silvas; and her brothers, Roberto Sanchez and Francisco Sanchez.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Ramirez (Roman) of Monahans and Ruben Silvas (Petrita) of Buda; her grandchildren, Kelsea (Ruben Zubia), Kierstin (Eduardo Silva), Roman Ramirez Jr. and Amelia Silvas; and her great grandchildren, Diego, Gabriel, Evan Zubia and Kamilla Silva. She is also survived by extended family and friends.
