He is survived by: his wife Celia Acosta Brito; his children, Wendolyne Acosta Utterback (Marty Utterback), Gabriel B. Acosta (Nicole Acosta) and Aaron Alonso Acosta (Sarah Acosta); his siblings, Manuela Sanchez, Juan Daniel Acosta, Socorro Duran, Oscar Acosta, Maria Magdalena Ingram and Marta Wright; and his grandchildren, Garon, Evan, Lauren Utterback, Ema, Gabriel Aron, Izak, Kaleb Acosta, Quinn and Samuel Acosta.
