She was predeceased by: her parents, Pablo Gonzales and Emma Gonzales; her husband Benigno Medina; her granddaughter Emma Malynn Pittman; and her sister Elia Speakman.
She is survived by: her son Joseph Garza (Arcelia); her stepson Ruben Medina (Staci); her daughters, Larissa Pittman (Jason) and Hilary Petree (Cory); and her siblings, Jessie Vargas, Elidia Subia, Mary Russell and Manuel Gonzales. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
