She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Gilbert Band and Mary Band; her husband Del; her children, Chris Luksa and Jason Luksa (Alyssa); her stepdaughter Beth Folkman (Jason); her siblings, Larry Band (Linda) and Cindy Stegemiller (Jimmie); and her grandchildren, Houston, Olive Luksa, Landon, Kenley Luksa, Elena, Joshua and Marisa Ellyson.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Shirley's name to First Presbyterian Church of Sugar Land.
