In the vast expanse of eternity, Richard shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Richard farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Welker and Mary Welker (Mandelaro); and his brother John Welker. He is survived by: his wife Beatrice (Sedita); his children, Scott and Kim Welker; and his grandson Dylan Payan.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Special Olympics, an organization close to Richard's heart.
