She was predeceased by: her husband Alberto Fernandez Patenia (Bert); her parents, Mamerto Mallari Montoya and Lucina Butiu Montoya; and her siblings, Veronica Montoya, Rosalina Montoya, Pio Montoya, Leonardo Montoya, Bonifacio Montoya, Orlando Montoya and Servillano Montoya.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jocelyn Patenia Huang and Jasmin Montoya Patenia; her sons-in-law, Gerald Huang and Andrew Moyes; and her grandchildren, Megan Huang, Mila Huang, Ayla Moyes and Luca Moyes.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Morrow Chapel (15015 Southwest Fwy, Sugar Land, TX 77478). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Family Catholic Church (1510 5th St, Missouri City, TX 77459).
