He was predeceased by: his parents, Lena Wilson and Henry Smith; his son Tony "Anthony" Smith; and his great grandchild Raeniacia Davis. He is survived by: his wife Frankie Smith; and his children, Shirley Handy (Alphonzo), Linda Mayberry, Clyde Smith Jr. (Glenda), Shauna Moss, Donna Ellis, Verta and Gilbert Tezeno.
