He was predeceased by: his son Mark Edward; his parents, Emil Robert and Mary Kallus Korenek; his siblings, Antone Korenek, Josephine Siegel, Anna Klevar, John Korenek, Frank Korenek, Laddie Korenek and Fred Korenek; and his nephew Leonard Korenek.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Edith; his wife Doris Mae Kunetka; his daughter Carmell Zvonek (Thomas); his grandchildren, Harrison (Sierra Shrode) of Missouri City, TX, Katie of Missouri City, TX and Colton of Missouri City, TX; his children, Stephanie Korenek Wolford (Carl) of Beaumont, TX, Stuart Wolford (Melinda), Julie Smith and Abby Wolford; his grandchildren, Keegan, Kiralee, Keely Wolford and Dallas Smith; his nephews, Arnold Korenek and Ken Korenek; and his niece Alice Malek.
